Some extra points
- There is a bit of a dog leg entrance to this marina so I wouldn’t recommend if you try to enter in dodgy weather.
- The harbour master is the guy whizzing around on an electric scooter followed by his dog (at least it was when we visitied!)
- WiFi is excellent here – REALLY fast! (188.92 mbps download speed and 28.79 mbps upload speed when I tested it.)
- They ask for an extra payment of €10 per night for access to the toilets and showers (if my memory serves me correctly) which in my eyes on top of €24 per night for a 10m boat plus €3 per night for electric is way too steep! The cost would be €37 per night! If you hover around outside the door to the showers and toilets someone is bound to walk out leaving the entrance wide open so you don’t even need a tag to get in… The showers operate normally – no tags needed once inside the outer door! 🙂 There’s about eight little individual rooms with a shower, toilet and sink in once inside the outer door that are rather nice (but not €10 a night nice!).
- There aren’t electric points to plug in at if you end up alongside between pontoons. (At least you save €3 a night this way!)
- There are a few shops, restaurants and a small supermarket a short (10 minute ish) walk into town from the marina.
- The beaches were nice – the marina was surrounded by them. Great for dog walks! I’m sure we saw some kiteboarders and windsurfers when we went down to the beach!
- It is very modern around the marina as it has been fairly recently added. There is at least one restaurant on site but we didn’t use it as we thought it was on the expensive side – great sea views from it though!
- Overall, this was a pleasant marina to stop at on our way to France but we wouldn’t go there specially. There just wasn’t enough going on here for us and it was too modern for our tastes.
