SOme extra points
- Showers were some of the best I’ve used during this entire trip! HOT and you didn’t have to keep pressing a button to get water – you turn it on and it stays on!
- Good amount of shops in the town centre about a 5-10 minute walk away.
- Wetherspoons a short walk away (great to roll into after a long, hard crossing!)
- Ensure you take smart clothing if you intend to use the restaurant or bar here (we didn’t have any so felt very underdressed walking around the marina!)
- We felt as though we were looked down upon by the receptionist when we went to book in and pay. 🙁
- Water is available on the pontoons but we were told by a member of staff (whilst we were filling our tanks) that it wasn’t actually drinking water…!
- Nice walk along the beach front directly outside the marina.
- Don’t be the person to raft up next to the Pilot boat in the marina… (someone did this whilst we were there!)
- You can access the webcam on their website to get a cool shot of your boat in the marina.
